WHAT IT DOES
1. The zip stop immobilises the zip sliders of a bag, and prevents them
from being used to re-seal a bag when the closed zip chain has been
illegally forced apart to gain entry. Travellers using a Tell-Tag will be
naturally alerted when the thief or smuggler finds that he or she is
unable to cover up a breach such as this, as the zip will be left open.

2. The zip binds the zip lockers of a bag together in the same way
that a padlock, cable-tie, or some other type of ‘tamper-proof’ tag
might.

3. The single-use detection on seal, seals the zip tie closed and is able to
alert you to any potential breach.

Most common coil-type suitcase zips can be easily breached by the insertion of a small screwdriver or similar tool into the zip chain.

How does a Zip Stop work?

Users of the Tell-Tag place their signature on the panel provided on
the reverse side of the detection seal with a ball-point pen.

They then peel the backing paper from the tie and position it along
the teeth of an open zip and fold over.

The two zip sliders are then drawn together to trap the head
between them.

The tail is then threaded through aligned zip hoops and stuck on the
other side, effectlvely sealing the tie to ensure any tampering will be
detected.

Furthermore, the Zip Stop of a Tell-Tag cannot be removed unless either the Zip Stop or the Detection Seal is broken, thus necessitating the replacement of the Tell-Tag (i.e. one without your signature). Either way, you will be alerted.
